- Wednesday: Arriving for dinner, Hosting: time, dress, gifts, thanking, offering and responding, Welcoming and Entertaining Guests, Crime in the U.S.: weapons, organized crime, drugs, The American Criminal
- Thursday: Racism/Different Cultures in the U.S., Dinner: complementing, showing appreciation, offering opinions, comments, Different cultures in the U.S.: language, traditions, New York in the 70’s/New York today
- Friday: After Work, Choosing and developing topics of conversation, Structuring and developing conversation, American Entertainment: How Americans spend their free time (books, movies, sports, hobbies), Farewells: wishing farewell, leaving, reinforcing contact, Course Review
